As a matter of fact, I think Lennon was the better song-writer but McCartney is the more talented musician. Since I prefer musick to words, I'll go with the latter.

McCartney's longevity has allowed him to branch out and really do more creatively. If we are looking at the entire corpus of both their works - then McCartney.
