I've been a member of Netflix for about eight months now and recently I hit something of a milestone by going for my first re-rent.
And what movie was it?
Why do I love this movie? Two basic reasons. First, the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic.
Second, I think "tosser" is an even better put-down than "wanker".
excellent choice. That was a GREAT movie, and the music was top notch. "Say it loud, I'm (Irish) and I'm proud!" I haven't seen it for a few years, but isn't there a scene where one of the bandmates is standing in line for a "lift" in the projects behind a kid with a draft horse? WTF? Does he keep the horse in the living room like some people take their bicycles up the 'vator to store in their closets?
Have you seen "Shallow Grave"? The Scottish accents in that one almost demand that you turn on the captioning, and even my old Welsh buddy didn't know what the hell they were saying half the time. Excellent movie, though, even if it's a bit more grim than "The Commitments".
