When Cameron Was In Egypt's Land, Let My Cameron Go*

Take the MIT Weblog Survey

*At least that's the Cameron I think they're referring to, but we are talking about MIT geeks. It could be something obscure.

Heh.

I could be Ferris Bueller's pal, knowing an MIT geek I wouldn't put it past them.

Cameron is Cameron Marlowe, the creater of Blodex (http://blogdex.net/). He's finishing up a Ph.D.

Pretty cool, huh?

K -

Margi's right. I saw that when I completed my survey. He's the guy that designed the survey, I think.

But, I love FBDO, in particular the line you quoted.

But also this classic:

Simone:
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's
brother's girlfriend heard from this
guy who knows this kid who's going
with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out
at 31 Flavors last night. I guess
it's pretty serious.

Teacher:
Thank you, Simone.

Im pretty sure that the line "when Cameron was in Egypts land...let my cameron go" is a blantent rip off of the Bible strory where God tells moses and where moses tells the Egyptian pharoah, "When the Israelites are in Egypt’s land, Tell old Pharaoh, To let My people go"

Sorry...correction.
Its from an old Christian song depicting the story i noted above, bar it really goes like this:

For Pesach - the Passover

When Israel was in Egypt's Land
When Israel was in Egypt's land
Let my people go,
They worked so hard they could not stand,
Let my people go.

Chorus:
Go down Moses,
Way down in Egypt's land,
Tell old Pharaoh,
To let my people go.

"Thus spoke the lord", bold Moses said,
"Let my people go,
If not, I'll smite your people dead,
Let my people go".
