I was beginning to go insane without my weekly fix of Alias. This show just keeps getting better and better, though I have to admit the beginning had me a little nervous!

On the whole, it was a good premiere.

I did not, however, like how they kept dumping these massive plot twists in a backhanded sort of way. Irina's dead? How the hell did that happen? Jack ordered the hit? Why did Mommy want to off her own daughter? etc. What I want to know is why didn't they allow this stuff to develop in real time? You had a whole season's worth of interesting stuff to develop and poof! It's all over and done with in the first episode, and we're back to Sloane being in charge. Don't get it.

The husband is most upset that Mommy is dead and buried. He really wanted her to come back---mainly because he had the hots for her, but also because she was a good character.

Me? Well, I'm wondering when Sark is going to stage a jail break.
